Laparoscopic Liver Resection

Service Description

Dr Nikam has successfully resected laparoscopic removal of left lobe liver ruptured hemangioma. One of its own kind presented in SAGES Conference, Baltimore, USA. Surgically removing the part / segments of liver is called Liver resection. This complex open surgery is done in case of liver cancer, in certain cases of metastatic colorectal cancers, Gallbladder cancers & certain benign tumors of the Liver and Hemangioma. Liver resection is done by removing the cancerous part of liver and therefore the GI Surgeon aims to stop spreading it further. The Surgeon attempts to remove all the cancerous part/ segments of liver and this procedure helps patient survival once the cancerous part of liver is removed.
